Sketching his creations for his Indian fans, Simpsons creator, Matt Groening says, “It’s never boring. Drawing these characters for me is like signing my name. It comes naturally. In fact, I could do it with my eyes closed.”

"Our job is to amuse one portion of the audience and irritate the other," he says. In India, Groening is amused by the home-grown humour of spoofs such as YouTube show, Singhsons: "It’s really funny. I thought The Simpsons would be successful, but I never thought it would be such a big success worldwide."
The clever yellow residents of Springdfield, did raise a few eyebrows in India with their outsourcing episode. “The response was good,” laughs Groening. “Whenever we do any other culture, we know that we always do it wrong. And sometimes when we get it wrong, some people at some places get very mad at us. But in the end, we get a good response out of that reaction,” he adds.
