India's largest Power Project exporter, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)today announced completion of two power projects in the Middle East.
BHEL's scope of work in the project included supplies of Gas Turbine Generating units with auxiliary equipment and supervision of erection and commissioning. The other milestone was achieved at Oman with the succesful commissioning of a 26 MW Gas Turbine Generator at Oman Refinery and Petrochemical plant in Muscat.
Another BHEL unit of similar rating is also in an advanced stage of commissioning at the same project.The first of their kind in Oman, these units will provide captive power generation for the Oil refinery, a company statement said. In the Middle East, BHEL has set up 14 Power Projects, besides substations and supply of a host of equipment for the power and the oil & gas sectors.
