State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd said its cellular subscribers would enjoy free incoming calls across all networks from May 1.
"TRAI is yet to approve our plans and so the old rates would continue with free incoming calls across all tariff plans. Also IUC would be charged as applicable," BSNL chairman and managing director, Prithipal Singh told PTI.

He, however, declined to give specifics of the new tariff plans.
At present, the outgoing charges vary from about Rs 2.40 per minute to Rs 3.60 paise per minute, depending on different packages.
However, a major relief for the company's 26 lakh cellular users would come by way of free incoming calls.
