Tata Power has been ranked among the top 50 best companies in India to work that cared for its employees and vice versa, according to a study by 'Great Place to Work Institute'.

Tata Power has been ranked among the top 50 best companies in India to work that cared for its employees and vice versa, according to a study by 'Great Place to Work Institute'.

"This ranking is a testament of our continued focus on actively engaging the employees to deliver their best. At Tata Power, we identify, develop and tap potential of our employees to ensure each day provides them an excitement of facing a new challenge and a great learning. We also encourage two way open communication, which has helped build trust and care with the employees," company managing director Anil Sardana said in a release issued here.

The survey undertaken by 'Great Place to Work Institute' awarded Tata Power 38th rank for the best workplaces, where companies cared for its employees and vice versa.

More than 500 companies signed up for the survey, of which, 471 met the strict eligibility criteria.

The ranking among the Top 50 best workplaces, further reiterate the immense faith of 3,822 Tata Power employees' in the honest and reliable management team, it said.

The survey also concluded that Tata Reflections, a multi-rater or 360-degree appraisal tool wherein a leader is assessed by his peers, subordinates and his reporting officer is the best HR practice at Tata Power.
