Renault to Hike Prices of Kwid, Triber and Kiger from January 2026

Renault India has announced a price hike of up to 2% across its lineup from January 2026, citing rising costs.

Renault India has announced a price hike across its model range, effective January 2026. The revision will see prices increase by up to 2 percent, depending on the model and variant. According to the company, the decision has been driven by rising input costs and prevailing macroeconomic conditions.

Renault currently sells three models in the Indian market: the Kwid, Triber and Kiger. Post the revision, the entry-level Kwid will continue to be the most affordable offering in the brand’s portfolio, with current ex-showroom prices ranging from 4.29 lakh to 5.99 lakh. The Triber, which is positioned as a compact MPV, is priced between 5.76 lakh and 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The Kiger compact SUV sits at the top of Renault’s India lineup, with prices starting at 5.76 lakh and going up to 10.33 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company has clarified that the price hike will not be uniform and will vary across models and trims. Specific revised prices are expected to be announced closer to the implementation date in January.

New Renault Duster coming in January

Alongside the pricing update, Renault has also confirmed that it will debut the new-generation Duster SUV in India in January 2026. The brand has released the first official teaser of the upcoming model, offering an initial glimpse of the SUV’s rear design. While the teaser does not reveal detailed styling or specifications, it signals the start of Renault’s build-up to the Duster’s India launch.

The India-bound Duster is already on sale in international markets, including Europe, where it is marketed as the Dacia Duster.
