Kurien passed away at Anand in Gujarat on Sunday after a prolonged illness. Badal recalled the outstanding contribution of Dr Kurien in making Amul Asia's top milk producing brand with a turnover of over Rs 13,000 crore. He described Dr Kurien as a true visionary.
