Chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday cancelled all his engagements and meetings slated to be held here on Sunday as well as his three-day 'sangat darshan' programme in Gidderbaha assembly segment of Muktsar district from July 15 to 17, due to ill health.

The doctors attending on the chief minister had advised him complete bed rest and to avoid travel for a couple of days as he was down with viral fever, a spokesman of the chief minister's office here said. The three-day 'sangat darshan' has been re-scheduled for August 6-8, he added.
