Grappler Geetika charts court route to Olympics

Denied the opportunity to represent the country in the Olympic qualifying tournament in Helsinki, wrestler Geetika Jakhar has approached court. The wrestler has filed a petition in Delhi HC against the Wrestling Federation of India, which dropped her from the squad despite winning the selection trials.

Earlier during the selection trials for the qualifiers held on April 19, Geetika defeated Alka, but later, the federation decided to hold a re-trial.
