An 18-year-old girl was allegedly repeatedly raped by a youth who also filmed the act, police said here on Monday.
The incident occurred more than a week back when the girl, whose parents sell milk, had gone to the house of the accused, Virendra, to deliver the milk, a police spokesperson said.
The accused then gave her sedatives-laced water to drink following which she lost consciousness. Virendra then raped her and filmed the act.
He later threatened the girl with dire consequences and raped her on other occasions and also blackmailed her for money.
Meanwhile, the girl's wedding was fixed but the accused sent obscene photos to her suitor which led to her marriage being called off.
A case was registered against the accused on Sunday, police said, adding further investigation is on.
In a separate incident, a youth allegedly attempted to rape a 15-year-old girl, resident of NIT area.
According to a complaint registered by the victim on Sunday, the accused identified as Deepak called her to his house and then tried to rape her, police said.
The victim, however, fled from the spot and raised an alarm, he said.
