Leave for Haryana voters serving in Punjab

The Punjab government has granted special leave on October 15 to its employees who are registered as voters in Haryana keeping in view the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections. The leave, said a spokesperson, would be granted after showing voter identity cards and would not be deducted from their leave accounts.

The Punjab government has granted special leave on October 15 to its employees who are registered as voters in Haryana keeping in view the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections. The leave, said a spokesperson, would be granted after showing voter identity cards and would not be deducted from their leave accounts.

The spokesperson further said that as per the law workers employed in industrial undertakings of Punjab registered as voters in Haryana are also entitled to paid leave on the day.
