Punjab Association of Computers Traders (PACT) held a protest against online retail stores for providing substandard products in the city.
The association alleged that while the products had discounts, they were often not only fake and without a warranty, but there have also been instances of orders getting mixed up.

"This problem is not limited to Ludhiana and Punjab alone, but occurs everywhere. If the government and IT companies do not offer a solution to the problem, we will shut down our offices," said Gurpreet Singh, PACT president.
PACT comprises retailers who source their products for online retail stores.
