From April 1, traveling to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) or using Bengaluru’s Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) will become costlier.
The annual price hike, linked to the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), will affect all road users, including commuters in personal vehicles, cabs, and public transport services like Vayu Vajra buses.
The revised toll rates by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), will apply at the Sadahalli toll plaza on the airport route (NH 7) and at the Hulikunte and Nalluru Devanahalli toll plazas on STRR (NH 648), according to a report by Deccan Herald.

Revised rates
According to the report, at the Sadahalli toll plaza, cars, jeeps, and other light motor vehicles will now have to pay ₹120 for a single journey and ₹180 for a return trip within the same day, with a monthly pass for 50 single trips costing ₹3,970. Light commercial vehicles and minibuses will be charged ₹185 for a one-way journey and ₹275 for a round trip, while a monthly pass will cost ₹6,100. For buses and trucks, the new rates are ₹370 for a single journey, ₹550 for a return trip, and ₹12,265 for a monthly pass.
The toll hike will also impact those using STRR. At the Hulikunte toll plaza, located on the 42-km Dobbspet-Doddaballapur stretch, cars and other light vehicles will now pay ₹110 for a single journey, ₹165 for a return trip, and ₹3,615 for a monthly pass. Meanwhile, at Nalluru Devanahalli toll plaza, which covers the 34.15-km Doddaballapur bypass-Hoskote stretch, car users will have to pay ₹85 for a single journey and ₹125 for a return trip.
