Two minor boys riding a bike died in a road accident in Gohana city of Sonepat late on Monday night after their bike was allegedly hit by a speeding bus near a cowshed on Panipat road.

The 17-year-old deceased was a native of the Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh, while the 14-year-old deceased was a local resident.
The family of the 17-year-old has been living in Garhi Sarai Namdarkha village of Gohana for the last 15 years. They said that the victim used to work as a labourer and had gone to Sainipura village to collect his wage money along with the second victim on a bike, when the accident took place.
Police said that both died at the spot and the driver fled, leaving the bus behind. A case was registered.
