The complainant Satish, a resident of Panipat (now living in Sonepat) said that he met Jatin in Armenia in 2023 and he told him that he deals in work and study visas.

“Jatin assured me of a work visa in Germany. The deal was fixed at 18 lakh and I gave him 11 lakh in two installments in February and March last year. Three months later, I neither got a visa nor flight tickets. When I demanded money back, Parminder, a retired army man, threatened him to face dire consequences and blocked my contact number,” he added.

ASI Surjeet said that he recorded statements of both sides and after proper investigation, it came to light that father-son duo duped Satish. A case was registered against them.
