A delegation of the Punjab government, led by chief minister Bhagwant Mann, will embark on a week-long tour to Japan and South Korea from December 2 to 9.
The tour has been planned as part of the state government’s global engagement ahead of the sixth progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit scheduled from March 13-15 next year.
Other than the CM, the delegation includes minister for industries and commerce and investment promotion Sanjeev Arora, along with senior officials and the Invest Punjab team.
The team will visit Tokyo and Osaka in Japan from December 2 to 5 and Seoul in South Korea on December 8 to 9 to interact with global companies, and extend invitations for the upcoming Summit.
During the visit, the state will showcase Punjab’s position as North India’s preferred investment destination, highlighting its strategic location, seamless connectivity to NCR and major ports, strong industrial clusters, uninterrupted quality power supply, skilled workforce, and progressive policy ecosystem.
The outreach will further highlight Punjab’s industrial infrastructure, including plug-and-play parks and the upcoming integrated manufacturing cluster (IMC) Rajpura, while underlining that over ₹1.4 lakh crore of on-ground investments have already been facilitated through Invest Punjab.
