Chief minister Bhagwant Mann will kick-start the registration process under the Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana at Jalandhar’s Adampur during a state-level function to mark 135th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar on Tuesday.

Pawan Kumar Tinu, AAP leader from Adampur, said the registration would be started as pilot project in nine assembly segments — Adampur, Dirba, Sunam, Moga, Kotakpura, Muktsar and Anandpur Sahib.
Under the scheme, the beneficiaries will get ₹1,000 per month each while those from the scheduled caste community will get ₹1,500 monthly.
