DGP inaugurates new conference hall building of Khanna police station

The state-of-the-art conference hall is well equipped with latest technology like projectors and LED screens

Punjab director general of police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Monday inaugurated the conference hall at district police office and new building of Police station city-1 at Khanna.

The DGP was accompanied by deputy commissioner Surabhi Malik, inspector general of police (IGP – Ludhiana Range) Kaustubh Sharma, senior superintendent of police (SSP, Khanna) Amneet Kondal, SSP Ludhiana Rural Navneet Singh Bains and SSP, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, (Nawanshehr) Akhil Choudhary.

IG Kaustubh Sharma said that the police officials can hold seminars, meetings and other events at the conference hall in the interest of raising the standard of work of the police department.

The state-of-the-art conference hall is well equipped with latest technology like projectors and LED screens.

The IG said that the newly constructed building of police station city-1 Khanna is equipped with the latest infrastructure and resources with a view to facilitate police working.

DGP Yadav also held a review meeting with the officials of three police districts of Ludhiana Range regarding law and order and general crime in the wake of upcoming Independence Day. The meeting was attended by all senior officers of the district.

Best performing police officials and police personnel of the Ludhiana Range were rewarded with DGPs Commendation Discs and CC-1 certificates to encourage and motivate them to perform their duties efficiently.
