Shrine board reviews security ahead of I-Day at Katra

The chief executive officer (CEO) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Sachin Kumar Vaishya, on Saturday, convened a meeting at Katra to review security for seamless pilgrimage and smooth conduct of the Independence Day celebrations.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations, which will be organised at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex in Katra wherein, CEO, SMVDSB will unfurl the national flag and inspect the parade comprising contingents of the JKP, CRPF, shrine security, NCC and children from different schools in the region.
