Ailing SGNP lion shifted to Nagpur for advanced treatment

Bharat, an Asiatic lion housed at Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP), is being shifted to Nagpur for treatment.

He has been undergoing treatment for multiple health complications, including an old hind-quarter injury.

SGNP authorities said the lion’s condition continues to be closely monitored and all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the best possible treatment and care.
