Cargill expands its presence
Cargill is strengthening the e-commerce presence of its edible oil brand Gemini. Its Kurkumbh plant near Pune currently employs 500 people to refine and package a wide range of Gemini oils. Dheeraj Talreja, Vice President and Managing Director of Cargill Food South Asia, said the company is expanding Gemini’s presence across e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, reflecting the growing shift toward online purchases.
Realme 16 5G unveiled in Pune
Realme presented its 16 5G smartphone, which features an AI-powered dual 50MP portrait camera system and an industry-first rear selfie mirror, enabling users to easily capture high-quality selfies with the rear camera. The phone is equipped with a 7000mAh Titan Battery and 60W fast charging.
Shiksha Awards 2025-26
LEAD Group, a school learning systems firm, held the Shiksha Awards 2025–26 as part of the 3rd edition of school reward programme for its partner schools. Nationally, this initiative reached over 3,000 schools and 22,000 teachers. In the west zone, 700 schools and approximately 5,000 teachers across partner schools participated. The company felicitated around 50 schools and 450 teachers in the west zone for their outstanding contribution to student success.
