The Maharashtra government on Thursday gave approval for recruitment of teachers in primary, upper primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools under local self-government institutions through the Pavitra Portal.
According to the government order, the recruitment process will consider vacancies expected to arise by the end of the 2025–26 academic year and accept candidates who cleared the Teacher Eligibility and Aptitude Test 2025.

The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has clarified that the recruitment will follow government resolutions.
