PUNE: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) on Monday postponed the State Services Main Examination 2026, scheduled to begin on October 3, along with the Maharashtra Civil Engineering Services Main Examination 2026 and Maharashtra Group-B (Non-Gazetted) Main Examination 2026.

The decision follows the commission’s decision to re-evaluate the answer sheets of the 2025 state service exam after students and student organisations raised objections. The commission said that a high-level committee has been constituted by the state government to review the existing examination system.
The revised exam dates will be announced separately, the commission said.
