With one ball to go and the Australians needing 20 to win, S Sreesanth and Dinesh Karthik were already celebrating, dancing on the ground to the tune of bhangra being played by the DJ. The music and dancing continued until late in the night as the Indian cricketers celebrated their win.

The scene in the dressing room after the match emphatically revealed how delighted the team was with its stunning show at Kingsmead on Saturday night. One moment stood out — Mahendra Singh Dhoni hugged Yuvraj Singh joyously, and all those who are trying to spread rumours about a rift between the two over captaincy must be silenced.

And the scene at the team hotel — Southern Sun Elangeni — was unbelievable for a five star hotel. The hotel lobby had at least a couple of hundred Indian fans, all playing at drums and singing patriotic songs.

Finally, their two-hour wait for the team to come to the hotel got over, and the players even joined them in the celebrations. Amidst the high-fives, Irfan Pathan somehow got hold of a dafli and played on it until he reached his room. And Sreesanth, who showed off some of his trademark break-dance steps immediately after the match got over, was quick to join the Baroda allrounder.

Let's hope that the rest will pay off when they take the field one last time in the event on Monday afternoon.
