PCB chairman, Zaka Ashraf said that in future a key official of the team management will be present with the players during any interview session.

‘A Conspiracy’

PCB chairman, Zaka Ashraf has already termed the debate over Ajmal’s action as a conspiracy.

“Ajmal was trapped by the journalist and because he hasn't got a command over English, he fell in the trap. This was a clever ploy following Pakistan’s thumping whitewash in the Test series,” Ashraf told reporters.

He said the English media couldn't digest the defeat of its team and wanted to create controversy involving Ajmal, who was Pakistan’s hero.

“We have issued instructions to the team management to ensure such things are not repeated,” he said. Sources said that PCB chief was not happy with the laxity shown by the team management in allowing players to give interviews.
