"About the way we played ... I am very happy," Bashar said after the match at the Kensington Oval on Wednesday.

"We've still got two games left so we can push those two games as well. I am very happy the way Bangladesh is still going. We need to be more consistent. If we can be a bit more consistent, we will win more games," he said.

Bangladesh struggled on a lively Kensington Oval pitch and their weaknesses against the bouncing ball were exposed. The Asian Tigers were bundled out for 143 against England and lost by four wickets in a major dent to their semi-final hopes.

"It was a bad toss to lose and we were in some trouble from the start. We would have been better if we had gotten up to a better score. Somewhere between 220 and 230, I would say is a par score on this pitch."
