BCCI changes India-Eng ODI timings due to dew factor

The timings of the first four matches of the India-England ODI series have been revised by the BCCI due to the dew factor which might have an impact on the play.

The timings of the first four matches of the India-England ODI series have been revised by the BCCI due to the dew factor which might have an impact on the play.

The matches will be starting at 12 noon which is two-and-a-half-hours earlier than the scheduled start of play.

The five-match series will be played in January next year with the first match in Rajkot on January 11.

Remaining matches whose timings have been changed will take place in Kochi, Ranchi and Mohali respectively.

"The timings of the day-night matches have been revised, to counter the "dew factor" and ensure the best playing conditions for both the teams," a BCCI media release said.

The last ODI, to be played at Dharamsala, will commence at 9:00am.

The day and night match will start at 12 noon and end at 7.45pm. Interval will be from 3.30pm to 4.15pm while for the Dharamsala match, the session-wise timings will be 09:00am to 12:30pm (first session), 12:30pm to 01:15pm (lunch) and 01:15pm to 04:45pm (second session).
