The rankings have been made on the basis of the entities' financial clout and their influences on sporting arena. The top-10 list places liquor barron Vijay Mallya at number two, followed by Subhash Chandra, Sony Entertainment Television, Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, ESPN Star Sports, Harish Thawani, Emerging Media, Cyrus Poonawala and Mukesh Ambani.
