The Deccan Chargers will now play two of their 'home' matches of IPL III at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, the league announced after discussions with the Hyderabad-based team.

"The revised IPL schedule has been worked out keeping in mind the catchment area of the Deccan Chargers franchise. The solution was worked out keeping in mind the sentiments of the cricket loving fans of the franchise," said Lalit Modi.
The Chargers, who on Monday threatened to initiate legal action against the IPL for moving matches out of Hyderabad, did an about-turn on Tuesday.
"We are working together with IPL to ensure the success of IPL 3 and have been reassured by the commissioner of IPL that our interest will be protected," said Venkatram Reddy, the Chargers' Director, Operations. The team will play its first ‘home match against Knight Riders in Mumbai.
