Two persons were injured on Wednesday when a portion of the outer boundary wall of the the Chepauk Stadium, collapsed during the sale of tickets for the World Cup.
A 20-foot portion of the wall at the stadium gave way under the pressure of thousands of surging ticket-seekers around 10 am, an hour after the counters opened.

Poor crowd management resulted in hundreds of people rushing towards the counters situated on the boundary wall that was recently plastered and painted.
