Pakistani batsman Misbah-ul-Haq said on Saturday that the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-Yuvraj Singh pair was a threat to bowlers of the whole cricket world and not just to his team in the ongoing series.

"They are not only a dangerous pair for Pakistan but also for the whole cricket world," he said on the eve of the fifth and final One-Day International at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium here.

"We are trying hard to restrict them from scoring [freely]," he said.

Misbah was referring to the successful partnerships that captain Dhoni and vice-captain Yuvraj have had during the series, helping India to take an unassailable 3-1 lead.

Talking about his batting, Misbah said he was trying to convert good starts into big knocks and also finish off matches.

"My aim is to finish off matches. It is not that I am satisfied with my scores," he said.

"I am trying to convert my 30s and 40s into at least 60s and 70s. I am also trying to finish off matches. I am not satisfied with myself."

Misbah has so far tallied 154 runs in four one-day games at a decent average of 38.50. His highest score in the series has been 49 runs.

The Punjab batsman said that it was not fair to compare him with batting maestro Inzamam-ul-Haq who recently retired.

"It is not proper to compare me with him," said Misbah who is seen to have replaced Inzamam in the team.

Misbah said his team would try to win Sunday's match to go into the Test series, starting in Delhi on Thursday.

He said that if Sachin Tendulkar does not play Sunday, it would be a big psychological advantage to Pakistan.
