Dinda picked up Akshay Darekar in his next over, to end the innings and emerging East Zone's highest wicket-taker with four wickets. The pacer's early-morning spell restricted West to 314 in the quarters, after which East skipper Natraj Behera (102*) dropped anchor to help his team to 183 for four at stumps.

Brief Scores: WZ 314 (Dinda 4/85). EZ 183/4 (N Behera 100 batting)
