The Mumbai-Mohali match was always going to be a big game. On Monday, visiting coach Tom Moody raised the bar even higher, saying it’s going to be the biggest game for them in the Indian Premier League.

“It’s the biggest game for us, but I have been telling the boys not to focus on winning just this particular game but all the games because we have seen how important momentum has been in the tournament,” said Moody.

Although he considers this their biggest game, Moody didn’t sound too perturbed by either Sachin or Jayasuriya’s threat. “Look, Sachin is undoubtedly a great player, and we will obviously work hard to get his wicket. But then we aren’t focusing only on him, there are 10 other guys in the team and we need to plan and strategise equally well for them,” said Moody.

He brushed aside the Jayasuriya threat as well saying the team knows where to bowl against the fiery left-hander. “We know the areas we need to bowl to him, but it all depends on the execution of the plan. But we bowled pretty well against him in Mohali and I am sure we would put it past him here as well,” said Moody.

Shaun Marsh and Luke Pomerbasch also came in for special praise. “Look I always knew their abilities; they are the best emerging cricketers in Australia and their success hasn?t surprised me at all,” he said.
