Concerned that J P Duminy might come a cropper on India's spin-friendly tracks, South Africa coach Mickey Arthur has asked the hard-hitting batsman to alter his technique to counter Harbhajan Singh in next month's Test and ODI series.
Arthur said he is a bit concerned about Duminy after seeing him struggle against England spinner Graeme Swann in the just-concluded drawn Test series.
"JP must just make slight adjustments to his technique," Arthur told the Afrikaans daily 'Beeld'.
But Duminy's coach at provincial side the Cobras Shukri Conrad said his poor performance against Swann was due to a lack of confidence rather than a technical problem.
South Africa will play two Tests starting February 6 against India to be followed by a three-match ODI series.
