According to a report in The Telegraph, KP was approached by ECB's senior management.
"Pietersen has been warned by the ECB against having more meetings with Modi," the report said.
In May, ECB chairman Giles Clarke had circulated an email warning county chairman and chief executives against meeting Modi until he is cleared by the BCCI displinary committee.
