GCA gearing up for India-Oz One-dayer

The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has sold the instadia advertising rights for the ODI between India and Australia scheduled for October 24, to Prerna International, Delhi for R 1.26 crore, said GCA secretary Prasad Fatarpekar.

The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has sold the instadia advertising rights for the ODI between India and Australia scheduled for October 24, to Prerna International, Delhi for R 1.26 crore, said GCA secretary Prasad Fatarpekar.

The overall revenue the association would generate is put at around R 2.25 crore with the sale of tickets earning around R 95 lakh.

Giving a break-up of tickets for the match, it said only 9,180 will be sold in denominations of R 2500, R 1500 and R 500, while 14,320 will be given as complimentary passes.

Keeping in mind the interest of the handicapped cricket lovers, the Association has allotted 180 tickets of Rs 500 denominations.

GCA treasurer Vinod Phadke who provided the ticketing details informed that various steps have been taken to avoid duplication of tickets and a scanner will be used that will grant access to the stadium.
