The focus will obviously be on whether Yuvraj Singh is named in the squad or not. After India's dismal show in the World Twenty 20 and the pub brawl that followed their last defeat, there have been enough indications from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that Yuvraj will be dropped from the Asia Cup squad.

However, after India's young guns failed to fire during the tri-series in Zimbabwe, where seven senior players were rested, Yuvraj's chances of boarding a plane for the four-nation tournament have brightened.

While Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, India's most impressive performers in Zimbabwe, are set to retain their place in the side, Yusuf Pathan is all set to be benched for his recent indifferent run.

That India have slipped to third in the ICC ODI rankings after the twin losses to Zimbabwe and the defeat against Sri Lanka will make the selectors even more desperate to get back to winning ways.
