Virender Sehwag was in good spirits on the morning of the India-Pakistan clash. Sehwag, who had skipped practice due to a cold on Monday, said he had recovered from a 'fever and sore throat' and was feeling fine. And the reason for this overnight recovery, if Sehwag was to be believed, were the medicines he had brought along from home.

"Yesterday, I was feverish, and was down with a bad throat. Thankfully, I am carrying my own medicines," he said.

Geoff Lawson makes his interaction with the media interesting. On the eve of the game on Monday, the Pakistan team coach was asked what was the secret of Pakistan's recent success. "Good batting, good bowling, good fielding and good coaching," he said. "Don't write the last bit, though."

And though he clarified the statement was made in jest, it sure provided some welcome comic relief in the press conference.
