Imran Khan, former Pakistan cricket team captain and now head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, married his ‘spiritual adviser’ Bushra Maneka in a wedding ceremony held in Lahore on Sunday. This is the cricketer-turned-politician’s third marriage.

Imran Khan, 65, had been visiting Bushra Maneka, also known as Pinki Pir, to seek spiritual guidance after meeting her a couple of years ago, media reports have said.
The photos of the nikaah ceremony were later released by the PTI party.
Khan first tied the knot with British socialite Jemima Khan in May 1995, but the couple, who had two sons together, divorced in June 2004. Imran’s marriage to TV anchor Reham Khan January 2015 ended in divorce in 10 months.
Bushra, a mother of five, belongs to the Wattoo clan, of which the Manekas are a sub-clan. She was previously married to senior customs official Khawar Farid Maneka, but the couple divorced some months ago.
Here are some of the reactions on social media and pictures from Sunday’s wedding ceremony in Lahore:
Shahid Afridi wished Imran Khan on his third wedding. The maverick all-rounder has been an Imran Khan all throughout his playing career.
