Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar feels that consistency was the major difference between the two sides after England beat India by 60 runs in the fourth Test at Rose Bowl to take an unassailable lead in the five-match series, on Sunday.
Tendulkar also hailed the hosts for playing good cricket during ‘crucial moments’ which in turn helped them take a 3-1 lead in the series.
The ‘Master Blaster’ took to social media to put his views across and his post read: “Congratulations to the England team! The consistency of their performances and playing crucial moments better resulted in a good series win. Best wishes to the Indian team for the final Test. #ENGvIND”

Under Ravi Shastri’s coaching, India have now lost Test series in all those countries, which are considered to be tough places for touring teams.
The final Test of the series will be played at the Oval from September 7.
