India vs Sri Lanka Live score 1st Test: It rained for more than five hours before the skies finally cleared for some late action in Galle on Day 2. Devdutt Padikkal, who brought up his maiden 150 en route to a superb 167, was the centrepiece of India’s strong 460 for nine at stumps. However, Sri Lanka rallied through their spinners, who found better lines and lengths than they had on Day 1. India had resumed at a commanding 288 for two but lost seven wickets for 172 runs, most of them to spin. With just one wicket in hand, the focus now shifts to India’s bowlers.
