IPL Points Table and updated Orange Cap & Purple Cap list

IPL points table - Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore have been ousted from the tournament, while Rajasthan Royals still have a mathematical chance of making it to the playoffs.

Shreyas Gopal, who has been an absolute revelation this season, picked up Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis to bag his maiden hat-trick before showers forced the match to be called off. Owing to this, Royal Challengers Bangalore have now been ousted from the tournament. Kohli’s side got a point from the called off game, taking them to nine points from 13 games, ending all their hopes of progressing in the tournament.

It was a 5-overs a side affair and Rajasthan needed 22 off the final 10 balls, when rain lashed down at the Chinnaswamy to force the umpires to call off the match. This has also kept Rajasthan Royals in the hunt, albeit mathematically as they have 11 points from 13 games with one match to go.
