Paceman Munaf Patel has been ruled out of the second test against Bangladesh due to a lower back pain, the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) said in a statement on Friday.

Patel, who is not playing in the first test, which started on Friday in Chittagong, will return to India and is to be replaced by uncapped paceman Ishant Sharma.
The second and final test of the series will start on May 25 in Dhaka.
