IT officials grill Mishra in Capital

Mishra had been suspended by the BCCI for allegedly making false claims of receiving money in black from his franchise, PWI, over and above his entitled amount. Mishra claimed he had been receiving Rs. 1.45 crore from the PWI.

Sources said Mishra narrated the sequence of events to the officials, besides submitting his income details. “Mishra pleaded innocence saying he was lured into making fake claims by the agents who promised him more lucrative deal from another franchise in the next season,” said sources.
