man who first saw cricket’s enormous commercial possibilities in India, returned to the BCCI fold on Wednesday.

The decisions were taken by the BCCI’s 81st Annual General Meeting, held at the BCCI headquarters on Wednesday.

The BCCI decided to withdraw the civil suit that they had filed against Dalmiya in the Bombay High Court for misappropriation of funds during the 1996 World Cup and also to revoke his expulsion notice served in 2006.

Dalmiya thanked the BCCI for their “fair” action.

“I have all along been committed to the fair administration of the game of cricket,” he said.

Modi, on the other hand, was removed from all the posts that he held in the BCCI.

“He (Modi) is just like you (media), he can come here generally. He is out of the Board,” BCCI president Shashank Manohar said.
