Lalit Modi moves apex court on disciplinary panel

Former Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court seeking the stay on the July 15 Bombay High Court refusal to reconstitute the disciplinary committee of the Indian cricket board.

Former Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court seeking the stay on the July 15 Bombay High Court refusal to reconstitute the disciplinary committee of the Indian cricket board.

Modi has also sought the stay on further proceedings before the disciplinary committee instituted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

In its verdict, the Bombay High Court dismissed Lalit Modi's plea seeking re-constitution of the disciplinary committee which, he said, was biased.
