Afghanistan beat UAE by five wickets in their ICC World Cup Qualifier Super Six encounter in Harare on Tuesday. After opting to bat, UAE lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 177 in 43 overs. Shaiman Anwar hit 64 while Rashid Khan took a five-wicket haul (5/41). In reply, Afghanistan were 54/5 at one stage but opener Gulbadin Naib (74*) and Najibullah Zadran’s (63*) unbeaten 124-run stand sealed the deal for Afghanistan with 93 balls to spare.
