Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Sixers Commentary

8:23 AM IST Nikhil Chaudhary is the Player of the Match. He tells he is grateful for the opportunity to play. Mentions he was training hard before the competition and it is paying off. Says the wicket was sticky and they got what they wanted from this wicket.
8:19 AM IST That is all from the game. The second game between the Heat and the Stars is already underway. So, switch the tabs and join us there. Till then, cheers!
8:18 AM IST Sydney Sixers have relied on Vince throughout this season but his wicket meant someone else to step up. However, Sydney Sixers lost wickets regularly. Moises Henriques and Jordan Silk got off to a start but failed to capitalize on it. Once Moises Henriques fell, Sydney Sixers were in trouble and their lower batting order didn't add much, after that it was just a process as the win was guaranteed quite a long wile back in the game. A superb win from Hobart Hurricanes and they go three in three now.
8:16 AM IST A rare disappointing outing for Sydney Sixers and they take the first L of the season! First time they have failed to chase down a target as well! This was a par score to be honest and should have been chased but credit to Hobart Hurricanes for being so disciplined with their line and length. They bowled slower balls regularly and got results effectively. The spinners actually were quite brilliant on this sticky wicket. Waqar Salamkheil, Peter Hatzoglou and Nikhil Chaudhary took four wickets together but it was Jordon's three-fer which made a massive difference.

Chris Jordan to Jackson Bird, no run

OUT! BOWLED! Chris Jordan ends with three! Goes full and on middle and leg. Bird makes room to drive but misses and it goes through the gap and crashes the stumps. Hobart Hurricanes win by 50 runs.

Chris Jordan to Todd Murphy, 1 run

Bowls it on a length and on middle, Murphy looks to heave but top edges it to deep cover where Nikhil Chaudhary picks up on a bounce.
