Their knocks combined with some impactful pace bowling handed them a commanding 395-run lead and despite Bangladesh fighting hard on Day 3 after being asked to follow-on, the result was never in doubt. It turned out to be a special game for Trent Boult who joined Tim Southee, Daniel Vettori and Sir Richard Hadlee in an exclusive club of New Zealand cricketers to take 300 Test wickets. A special mention for Liton Das who showed a lot of courage and stroked a fantastic century, albeit in a losing cause.

Admits that Bangladesh put them under a lot pressure several times and feels that it's a fair result to this series. The touring team will be regretting at the moment but still, there will be a sense of pride in sharing the trophy on the foreign land, especially in Tests.
