Suspended IPL chairman Lalit Modi on Wednesday slapped libel charges against England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Giles Clarke in the High Court in London for alleging that the 46-year-old was trying to destroy world cricket.

Meanwhile, Modi replied to the third show-cause notice maintaining that there was no violation of tender clauses in awarding theatrical rights for IPL-III.
