They beat Namibia by five wickets in a last-over finish in Geelong on Tuesday to rise to the top of the table. Namibia, who had pulled off a grand upset by defeating 2014 T20 World Cup winners and one of the most consistent teams of the tournament, Sri Lanka, by 55 runs, were restricted to 121 batting first. The Netherlands in reply, got off to a solid start thanks to Vikramjit Singh's 39 off 31. Namibia, however, clawed their way back and dragged the match to the last over but the Netherlands held their nerve.
